How many sessions must a learner attend to gain accreditation?

Modified on Fri, 13 Jan 2023 at 01:17 PM

Learners must attend a minimum of 80% of the face-to-face or live webinar sessions (webinar recordings do not count toward attendance), and pass 100% of the Learning Log tasks at their chosen Level, in order to gain accreditation.

10 week courses: Learners must attend a minimum of 8 out of 10 sessions.

8 week courses (e.g. Complex Needs): Learners must attend a minimum of 7 out of 8 sessions.

5 week courses (AAC, ASD): Learners must attend a minimum of 4 out of 5 sessions.

3-Day Intensive courses: If a learner is unable to attend one of the days, they must attend a minimum of one catch up session.

If a learner misses a session and their Elklan tutor is unable to hold a catch up session for them, learners can book catchup webinars directly through Elklan.
